Pilates Barre Lex is a boutique pilates studio in Lexington KY specializing in reformer pilates and barre integrated in our Fusion class. With small class sizes, expert trainers, and the latest equipment, we provide purpose driven, restorative, and revitalizing workouts for you.

What We Offer

GROUP PILATES CLASSES

  • Beginner friendly. Work at a slower, but very effective pace. This class provides the perfect balance of challenge and accessibility and teaches the Principles of Pilates. By emphasizing mobility and balance work alongside core and muscular training, we aim to improve your overall stability, flexibility, and strength.

  • In this slower-paced class, each movement is carefully designed to enhance flexibility, improve posture, and release tension in the muscles. Our dedicated instructors guide you through a series of precise and controlled exercises, paying close attention to the mind-body connection.

  • Group Reformer is the combination of classical and contemporary Pilates movements which makes every session dynamic and invigorating. You will enjoy the perfect blend of traditional reformer exercises with innovative movements, ensuring a well-rounded workout that targets each muscle group effectively.

  • Flow through this creative, athletic, and Intermediate reformer class for a total body workout keeping the Pilates principles! With planks, standing work, adding onto the basics, and adjustable spring options, challenge yourself and leave feeling long, lean, and toned. We will FLOW. Working from one movement to another with swift transitions, but focused movement. Get ready to move, feel the burn, and maybe even a little shaky - in the best way possible!

    This class is for clients who feel VERY confident on the reformer. 1.5-2 years experience. Instructor approval is required. *Prior reformer experience is mandatory for this dynamic session. Start with Principles, Group Reformer, or the Restore class if you're newer to the reformer and Pilates Barre Lex.

    *no injuries, no surgeries, not for pre-natal.

  • Are you ready to amp up your fitness routine and challenge yourself? Introducing Cardio Blast, the ultimate 45-minute workout at Pilates Barre Lex that will leave you feeling energized and accomplished. This heart-pounding cardio trampoline class is designed to make you SWEAT and get your heart rate soaring. This class is for all levels and always has the option to be modified, making both beginner and veteran clients feel STRONG and CONFIDENT.

  • The Pilates method forms the foundation of this energizing session, offering a comprehensive workout that engages and strengthens your entire body on the Reformer and Mat. Building upon this, the precise and controlled movements of Barre seamlessly blend into the routine, targeting specific muscles. Feel your muscles ignite as you push beyond your limits, discovering newfound strength and flexibility.

  • Led by our Lead Instructor, this class begins with a thorough review of fundamental exercises to ensure proper form and technique. Once we've established a solid foundation, get ready to amp up the intensity as we guide you through dynamic and high-intensity movements that will get you moving and shaking, quite literally! Please note that for your safety, approval from the Owner is required before joining this class. This ensures you have the strength and experience necessary to engage in the advanced exercises.

Each Pilates class is limited to seven friends! Even in a group class, we provide an individualized experience in a boutique setting. Come try out our Group reformer classes that are taught throughout the day to get a feel of what it would be like to have a membership with us! We recommend starting out with the Principles class or Group Reformer class. 

*Please consult your primary care physician or Dr, if there is any uncertainty if you are able to participate in Reformer Pilates classes.

  • One-on-one reformer Pilates session in a private setting. Perfect for beginners or those that want individualized attention in their Pilates practice. This is the perfect place to start if you are a TRUE Reformer Pilates Beginner! We will show you the ropes in a 1:1 session with Hannah so you can feel confident if you choose to switch into group classes at Pilates Barre Lex or stick with private sessions! We would love the opportunity to work with you.

  • A private pilates session with you and your friends! These are honored upon instructor availability.

She immediately made me feel at ease. I’m 47, been out of a health fitness routine for awhile, and was nervous about joining anything new and unfamiliar.

I started with two private sessions, so I’d feel more confident on the reformer and to gain some confidence in my body while on the reformer. Abby, the other awesome instructor there, taught my first class, Hannah the second. They were patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. I immediately signed up for a membership after the first session. When private classes were over I took my first group reformer class. I was made to feel so welcome. The women were fun, friendly, and badass. I kinda started to feel that way again too. I love how it feels leaning up to pop off or add on springs, grabbing the straps, putting the platform on for a leg trembling workout, and finishing with mermaids and leg circles!

Pilates is somehow both relaxing and challenging. I come into class excited for what we are going to do that day, bc it’s always different, and I leave feeling refreshed and energized. Now I’m obsessed and look forward every day to class. I am also now obsessed with grippy socks, Stanley cups, and yes even the reformer. So thankful to Hannah for the space she has created and cultivated so we can show up, feel good, have fun, and get one hell of a workout.”
